Attention all Gilmore Girls fans — your favorite show may be returning to the small screen!
According to a new report, a reboot of the popular show starring Lauren Graham (as Lorelai Gilmore) and Alexis Bledel (as Rory Gilmore) is in the works at Netflix. The series' revival would include four, 90-minute movies, with production beginning early next year, an insider told The Hollywood Reporter.

Gilmore Girls — which ran from 2000 until 2007 on The WB and later The CW — also starred Melissa McCarthy (as Sookie St. James), Kelly Bishop (as Emily Gilmore), Scott Patterson (as Luke Danes) and the late Edward Herrmann (as Richard Gilmore). Though many of the show's original cast members are expected to return for the Netflix reboot, Melissa will likely not appear due to her ongoing role on Mike & Molly and her commitment to upcoming movies including The Boss and Ghostbusters.
