Many have often wondered how Food Network chef Giada de Laurentiis manages to stay so thin given her chosen career.
Though the 'Today' show contributor and cookbook author, 44, has always insisted she is able to maintain her size two figure by eating everything in moderation, a new report is now claiming the star "never eats."
"When she is making drinks and food that she has to drink or eat, they have a dump bucket that is brought out the second they cut," a source said of Giada in the report.

The source further explained an assistant will sometimes take bites of food for Giada so it appears the chef has tried her dishes on-air. "She does not eat at all while filming," the source added.
While Giada's rep has fired back at these latest accusations — calling the claims "absurd and completely false" — he did confirm that Giada "doesn't always eat and swallow every time" while filming because scenes are often shot multiple times.
Furthermore, the representative said if the chef ate everything she cooked it "would be like eating six to eight meals a day."

In an April 2012 interview with Health.com, Giada said eating "a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything" is her secret to keeping a trim figure.

"I know that's really hard for people to understand, but I grew up in an Italian family where we didn't overdo anything. We ate pasta, yes, but not a lot of it. Pasta doesn't make you fat. How much pasta you eat makes you fat," she said.
