Talk about a blast from the past!
George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, welcomed twins on Tuesday, June 6 — and little Ella and Alexander's arrival has led many people to wonder about the actor's first wife, Talia Balsam. That's right, George was married before Amal... did you know?!
Though George was thought of as an eternal-bachelor before tying the knot with the London-based barrister in September 2014, the ER star was actually hitched to actress Talia from 1989 until 1993.

Today, Talia — who married Mad Men star John Slattery in 1998 — has assured her fans that she and George remain on good terms despite their past divorce. "George is charming. He remains charming. I’ve worked with him," she told People in 2016.
