Someone's super excited for his September wedding!
A typically-private George Clooney broke character Sunday night, letting a few details slip regarding his upcoming nuptials to lawyer fiancée, Amal Alamuddin.
While accepting a Humanitarian Award at Celebrity Fight Night in Tuscany, Italy, the actor shared, "I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places."
It was confirmed last month the duo would marry in Italy after listing the country on their marriage license, though many assumed the ceremony would take place in Lake Como where George has a home.
Throughout the Sept. 7 event, the Oscar winner kept his brunette beauty close — it was the couple's red carpet debut — drinking champagne and chatting with guests like Lionel Richie and Ronnie Dunn.
The black-tie affair was held in support of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. Classical singer, Andrea, was on hand to perform for attendees.
The festive night also included an auction with items such as a dinner with Billy Crystal and Robert De Niro, a nine-day stay on the Salvatore Ferragamo family yacht and a white crocodile handbag autographed by the honoree himself.
Although George took center stage for most of the evening, Amal turned heads in a stunning black Dolce & Gabbana gown. The 36-year-old was spotted just last week visiting the headquarters of Alexander McQueen, sparking rumors she'll be wearing the British label on her big day.
