Amal Clooney can check off becoming Mrs. George Clooney from her bucket list as well as landing an Ivy League professorship.
The London-based barrister, who wed the Monuments Men star in September in Venice, Italy, has accepted a teaching position at NYC’s Columbia University.
George and Amal in January 2015.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the things she does,” gushed George. The prestigious school confirmed on March 6 that Amal would be joining Columbia’s law school as a visiting faculty member and senior fellow this spring.
“It is an honor to be invited alongside such a distinguished faculty and talented student pool,” Amal, 37, said in a statement. “I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here.”
