Gavin Rossdale was in for quite a shock when wife of 11 years, Gwen Stefani, sent him an email last year with the subject line, "LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO ME NOW."
The 48-year-old said he was on tour with his band, Bush, when the blonde beauty told him via email that she was pregnant for a third time.
"I was like, 'What is this?' My blood pressure went through the roof. And I opened the email, and it was the pregnancy stick,'" he told Howard Stern during an appearance on his radio show.
Though surprised by the news at first, the musician knew exactly when the baby was conceived. "I wasn't home that often, but I did go home for Father's Day. And that gives Father's Day a new meaning," he joked.

The A-list couple welcomed third son Apollo Bowie Flynn on Feb. 28, joining big brothers Kingston, 8, and Zuma, 6.
Gwen recently admitted her eldest was the one who desperately wanted another sibling. “He asked me, ‘Mom, are you going to have a baby? I want you to have a baby,’” Gwen recalled on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “I was like, ‘It’s over. We’re not having any more. This is our family.’"
But Kingston had faith. "[He] has a direct link to God, basically,” she said. “[He started to pray,] ‘Dear God, please let my mom have a baby. Please, God! Please let my mom have a baby.'" And before long, his prayers were answered!
"I swear to you, he prayed every single night, and four weeks later, I was pregnant,” the Grammy winner shared. “I brought out a cake after we found out...and he goes, ‘Ahh! I prayed for that!'”
