In a revealing new interview, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman sadly confirmed a reunion show starring Jennifer Aniston (as Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (as Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (as Phoebe Buffay), Matthew Perry (as Chandler Bing), David Schwimmer (as Ross Geller) and Matt LeBlanc (as Joey Tribbiani) will "never happen."

"[The show] has a lifespan like anything else, and there's no reason to continue doing it just because people miss the characters," Marta told Deadline. "Watch the old ones; there is no way we could win that. And there's no way it would be satisfying and it'll never happen. We'll never do it."

The actor attempted to continue his time as Joey Tribbiani on the spin-off Joey, but the show was sadly short-lived. Matt — who now stars on the Showtime series Episodes and on Man with a Plan — has one daughter, Marina, with his ex-wife, Melissa McKnight.
