Dallas’ Grand Dame, Linda Gray, faced real tragedy last Nov. 23 when Larry Hagman, her co-star and best friend of 35 years, succumbed to throat cancer at 81. In the new issue of Closer, Linda reveals how her losses have made her gratitude for life grow and how she’s living each day to the fullest.
“He was this magical guy,” Linda shares about the man who played her dastardly ex-husband J.R. Ewing.
The actress has made some big changes over the past few years. After living in her California ranch for 38 years, she sold the property and is currently living in Dallas for the show. When asked if she’s making a permanent move she replied, “I don’t have a clue! I feel energized by the possibilities of not being tied somewhere.”
She also enjoys not being tied down romantically. “It’s hard when you’re a nomad," she says.
