What you saw was what you got with Al Molinaro.
“I remember my first impression of him: He was a warm, funny, generous guy,” Scott Baio, who co-starred with Al on the hit sitcom Happy Days and its spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi, tells Closer.
“He was a guy you wanted to hang around.”
Viewers certainly felt that way about Al, who died at 96 on Oct. 30.

Whether he was playing sweet-souled diner owner Al Delvecchio on Happy Days or sad-sack cop Murray Greshler on The Odd Couple, he always delivered big laughs.
