This Disney sequel — set in Depression-era London — will reportedly draw inspiration from the remaining six books of P.L. Travers’ 1934 to 1988 children’s book series. The original 1964 Mary Poppins film, which famously starred Julie Andrews in the lead role, was inspired from the author's first book.
