"I have the most fantastic baby nurse, Jackie," she explained. "She helps me — I’d be nowhere without her because I work long days. And I need help caring for [Eli] and she’s got my back and his.”

We love that Ellen was honest about the challenges of being a working mom in Hollywood! Just like her on-screen character, Meredith Grey, Ellen balances her career with motherhood.

The actress has three children with husband, Chris Ivery: daughters Stella Luna, 6, and Sienna May, 2, and their five-month-old son, Eli. She gave birth to Stella naturally and welcomed Sienna and Eli via a surrogate mother. Ellen has since been extremely open about the process of using a surrogate.

"This is an incredible thing to do with your life, to give the gift of carrying someone's child. I am forever grateful and feel very blessed and grateful to her — she who will remain anonymous," she previously explained.

"I was there with her when they inseminated her, and we held hands. I looked into the microscope and I saw the embryo. I saw the baby, and they put it in a thingy, and they inseminated her," Ellen continued. "And then we held hands, and we prayed, we talked to God, and if she was meant to be. He said he was going to try to help us out, and now we have a gorgeous baby girl."
