Talk about the greatest gift ever! Ellen DeGeneres just proved she's the most thoughtful friend by gifting Jimmy Kimmel with a sweet surprise in honor of his baby son, Billy Kimmel. The late night host has been extremely open about the 10-month-old's heart disease diagnosis ever since he was born, and clearly Ellen has followed right along with his journey.

Since little Billy has already needed multiple open-heart surgeries, he's spent quite a lot of time at Children's Hospital LA. Luckily, the baby is on the mend and is healthy and happy today. But to honor and celebrate Jimmy's son, Ellen revealed that she pulled some strings and got a hospital room named after Billy! Check out the sweet moment in the clip below!

"We called our friends at Children's Hospital LA," Ellen told Jimmy on the Tuesday, Feb. 27 episode of The Ellen Show. "We have named one of the rooms of the Heart Institute floor in honor of Billy. That will forever be the Billy Kimmel room." Jimmy was understandably emotional about the heartfelt gift, and he even got a little choked up! "Thank you very much. That means a lot to me," he gratefully said.

Jimmy's baby boy has even already made an appearance on his dad's late night show! Only a week after his second open-heart surgery, Billy was brought out on-stage during a December 2017 Jimmy Kimmel Live! episode, and he couldn't have looked any cuter. "I was out last week — because this guy had heart surgery. But look he’s fine everybody, he may have pooped but he’s fine," the 50-year-old joked. "Daddy cries on TV but Billy doesn’t. It’s unbelievable."

Although Billy still will require one more surgery, he's well on his way to being on the mend. "This is amazing — he had an operation a week ago," Jimmy continued. "He has one more surgery. They say he’s probably on track to win at least a bronze medal in the Olympics in 2036." Maybe when Billy goes back for his final surgery, he'll get to stay in the room named after him!
