Family comes first for Drew Barrymore!

The 39-year-old gave birth to her daughter Frankie nearly eight months ago, but the mother-of-two says she’s in no hurry to lose her baby weight.

“It took nine months to [put on], so it should take nine months to get off,” the actress said in a new interview with ‘People’ magazine.

“I wanted fettuccine alfredo, I didn’t want a barbell. I didn’t even want to think about [weight loss] until I immersed myself in babyhood,” ‘The Wedding Singer’ star added.

Unlike other new moms in Hollywood, Drew — who is also mom to daughter Olive, 2, with husband Will Kopelman — says it’s been difficult to get back in shape after having two kids.

“I was like, ‘Don’t talk to me about how fast and fabulous you are or it came off. That was not my experience. I’m having to work my a** off until I even think about getting it off.”

But despite not yet being back to her pre-baby weight, the actress says all that really matters is the quality time she is spending with her family.

“I wouldn’t look at my kids and be like, ‘I have a free hour, I’m going to work out!'” she told ‘People.’
