It seems Drew Barrymore is holding up just fine in the wake of her divorce.

In a new interview, the 41-year-old actress credited her two daughters, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2, for bringing her “joy” amid her split from their dad, Will Kopelman.

“[Motherhood has] just made me such a better person. I always love and try to live on the high road. I think you feel best when you behave or react or come from the high road place. And my kids have elevated that for me in a way that is indescribable,” Drew told [Entertainment Tonight](http://www.etonline.com/news/187391exclusivedrewbarrymoretalksmotherhoodgettingherkidsnamestattooedonherwristtheyaremyjoy/)_ on Sunday, April 24.

The E.T. star and her two little ones are so close that Drew recently tattooed their names on her wrist!

“They’re my favorite people on the planet, and just seeing [the tattoo] every day makes me happy,” she said of her new ink. “Always remember what’s important and that joy is in everything… they are my joy.”
