The Crawley clan is back together again! Just weeks after news broke that a Downton Abbey movie is officially in the works, a few cast members of the hit show had a fun reunion on Sunday, Aug. 12 and fans can’t get enough of the new photos.

First, actress Michelle Dockery — who famously played Lady Mary Crawley on all six Downton seasons — took to Instagram to post a black and white snapshot of herself posing with actors Dan Stevens and Allen Leech. “Dorks,” the 36-year-old star captioned the image.

Dan, 35, played Mary’s husband, Matthew Crawley, for three seasons before his character was tragically killed in a car accident. Allen, 37, starred as recurring character Tom Branson — the husband of Mary’s late sister, Lady Sybil Crawley — in Seasons 1 and 2 before being promoted to a main cast member for Seasons 3 through 6.

After Michelle shared her reunion pic, Dan similarly shared the same photo on his Instagram account but with the caption, “Should Matthew have a mustache for the #DowntonAbbeyMovie…? Vote below.”

Understandably, Dan’s caption made Downton fans freak out, as his character, Matthew, died in the original series. So does the reunion pic and his caption mean Matthew will return for the film?! “Are there going to be ghosts or zombies in this movie? This is the only way I can see Mathew in it,” one person commented on the photo with another similarly adding, “Don’t mess with me, my heart can’t take it after Matthew’s death!”

A few days earlier, Allen took to social media to share a selfie of himself with Michelle. “Look who’s in LA! The Dockmiester General. Soon to be my sister-in-law again. #BackToTheAbbey,” he captioned the pic. We can’t wait to see more of the cast together again in the Downton Abbey movie when it hits theaters soon!
