Donald Trump to Remain an Executive Producer of 'The Celebrity Apprentice'

Donald Trump will be President of the US... and an executive producer of The Celebrity Apprentice.

In addition to his role as commander-in-chief, the 70-year-old will continue his previous exec position on the long-running NBC reality show, his rep confirmed to People on Friday, Dec. 9.

“Mr. Trump has a big stake in the show and conceived of it with Mark Burnett,” the spokesperson said. A source close to Donald also told People, “He does not have any current or ongoing obligations to the production — it’s just a title to honor that he was a major creator of the show and takes a share of the profits.”

Donald was host of The Apprentice (which later became The Celebrity Apprentice) for the first 14 seasons of the series beginning in 2004. He gave up his hosting job in 2015 so he could run in the Presidential election.
