Céline Dion has replied no to President-elect Donald Trump‘s invite for her to perform at the inauguration ceremony on Friday, Jan. 20 in Washington DC, according to The Wrap.

The inauguration team — which happens to be led by Mark Burnett, the producer of The Celebrity Apprentice — reportedly tried to book the A-list singer for the special occasion through Donald’s longtime friend Steve Wynn, who couldn’t successfully slot the French-Canadian music sensation. According to the news outlet, Wynn also failed at getting country music star Garth Brooks to perform that day as well.

Despite the negative reports, Donald’s team is denying any troubles getting top talent at the special event next month. “First class entertainers are eager to participate in the inaugural events,” Boris Epshteyn, communications director for the Presidential Inaugural Committee told the site in an email on Wednesday, Dec. 21. “The inauguration as a whole will be an exciting and uniting celebration of freedom and democracy. We will be releasing further details at the appropriate time.”
