Country queen indeed! When Dolly Parton took the stage at Glastonbury this past weekend, the biggest crowd to ever descend on the music festival cheered her on!
In a post on the website, festival organizer Emily Eavis wrote, “Oh, Dolly was the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen here. She is just a truly amazing live performer. Her voice was incredible…I don’t think you can beat that performance as a perfect moment here at Glastonbury.”
And that's saying something given past acts include The Rolling Stones, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen.
After performing at the U.K.-based gig, Dolly even talked about starting a similar event at the Dollywood Theme Park in Tennessee.

"I have a lotta land up near east Tennessee, and we do a lot of festivals through my Dollywood company," the singer shared during a press conference at Worthy Farm.
"I've often thought I might start my own festival in Tennessee, or maybe I'll get some good pointers from this one...Michael [Eavis, the festival founder] can give me some tips. Why wouldn't I want something like this?"
The 68-year-old also noted how thrilled she was to be performing on such a well-known stage. "I'm so excited to be part of this whole thing. I'm just a country girl, and now I feel like a rock star," she gushed, adding that her all-white outfit was intentional.
"I figured from all the way out there I want to be seen, and I think it goes well with mud," Dolly teased of the countryside's infamous weather.
