DIY Friday: Make a Memorable Quilt For Your Home!
Happy DIY Friday! This week, Paige Hemmis stopped by Hallmark Channel’s hit daytime talk show Home & Family to demonstrate how to make a memorable quilt! Check out the instructions below.
Materials:

Quilt
-
Scissors
-
Fabric glue
-
Ribbon
-
Ruler
-
Fabric printer paper (9 pages)
-
Printer
-
Iron

Directions:

Measure quilt to 4 ft. x 4 ft.
-
Cut quilt to 4 ft. x ft.
-
Measure and cut ribbon to 4 ft. strips (4 pieces)
-
Glue ribbon around top edge of quilt.
-
Fold ribbon to back side of quilt and glue.
-
Repeat process for left, right and bottom edges of quilt.

Chose (9) photos that tell desired family story or memory.
-
Print photos on fabric printer paper.

Use ruler to measure 5 in. from edge of quilt.

Place first photo on quilt 5 in. from top left edge of quilt.
-
Iron photo to quilt for about 1 minute (until firmly secured)
-
Repeat process for additional (8) photos spacing 5 in. apart forming 3 rows with 3 photos on each row.
