Our hearts are breaking for radio host Delilah. The TV personality revealed her son Zachariah died after committing suicide in an emotional Facebook post on Saturday, Oct. 7. This news comes just five years after she lost her adopted son Sammy to complications from sickle-cell anemia.

“My dear friends, I need to share some devastating news with you. In the early morning hours, Tuesday, Oct. 3, my son, Zachariah, took his life,” she wrote on the social media platform. “He was being treated, counseled, and embraced fiercely by family and friends while battling depression for some time now. My heart is broken beyond repair and I can not fathom how to go on… but I have to believe he is at peace with the Lord and that God will get us through.”

Delilah is currently married to Paul Warner, whom she married in 2012. She was previously hitched to Douglas Ortega from 1996 until their divorce in 2001. She is a mom to 13 children, 10 of whom she adopted.

Understandably, the 57-year-old will be taking a break from her radio show, which has an estimated eight million listeners. “I will be absent from the radio and on social media for a time as I grieve and try to process this loss with my family,” Delilah added. “In the meantime, we’ll be playing some of my favorite shows from the recent past. I’ll look forward to my return, as you all lift me up so very much!”

She concluded, “Please pray for my beloved Zacky, and I will pray for all suffering from this debilitating disease called depression.” We are keeping Delilah, her family, and friends in our thoughts during this difficult time.
