The Mysteries of Laura is sadly coming to an end.
Debra Messing — who played NYPD Homicide Detective Laura Diamond on the NBC show — took to Twitter on Saturday, May 14 to confirm her show has been canceled after just two seasons.

"My dear Diamonds — Our story has ended but it was a joyous story to tell. We are all so grateful to you for your love. #DiamondsForever," the 47-year-old actress wrote to her fans on the micro-blogging site.

The Mysteries of Laura first premiered on NBC in September 2014 and wrapped its 16-episode second season in March 2016. In addition to Debra, the show also starred Josh Lucas, Laz Alonso and Max Jenkins.
