Married… With Children previously aired on Fox for 11 seasons from 1987 until 1997. The sitcom centered around Al Bundy (played by Ed), his wife, Peggy Bundy (portrayed by Katey), and their two children, Kelly (Christina) and Bud (David).

“It was the best set to work on,” David told Closer of his time on the show. “We had so much fun.”

This isn’t the first time David has opened up about the Married… With Children reboot being put on hold. “It has been in the works for a couple of years. The whole cast has said ‘Yes’ [and] will recur. It’s kinda based around Bud Bundy,” he revealed in May 2016.

“But there has been one issue, a legal issue, that [the network hasn’t] been able to get around at the moment that they’re still trying to work out, which we obviously hope they’ll work out, as do the fans. But if it does, you’ll see [the show] and if they can’t figure it out, then you won’t,” he added.
