The Cutest Father and Son Moments Between David Beckham and His Sons

Now that David Beckham has retired from soccer, the 42-year-old dad now has more time to focus on his four kids, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, 6. David and his troupe of adorable kids are often seen hanging out courtside at basketball games and walking red carpet events together. However, one thing that sets the Beckhams apart from other celebrity families is how openly affectionate they are with each other. And although watching David lovingly kiss his sons make us squee with delight, shockingly, others have criticized the sports star's behavior for being "inappropriate."

Earlier this year, fans were upset when David uploaded a picture of himself kissing his daughter Harper on the lips. “David, to kiss lips of your daughter (sic) that’s wrong,” one fan wrote. "To be honest kissing your daughter on the lips is a little weird," another one wrote. David responded to the critics in the best way possible. “I got actually criticized for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day," he said during a Facebook Live discussion, "I kiss all my kids on the lips. Brooklyn, maybe not. Brooklyn’s 18, he might find that a little bit strange. But I’m very affectionate with the kids. It’s how I was brought up and Victoria, and it’s how we are with our children. We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them, and support them, and we’re very affectionate with them.”

Over the years if you look at photos of David with his sons, you can tell he loves his family — and yes, he's not afraid to plant a kiss or two on them either! Check out the gallery below to see adorable photos of David bonding with his sons.
