She’s been modeling for over 30 years, so it’s no surprise that Cindy Crawford has some regrets when it comes to her career. In a new interview with Town & Country, the 52-year-old revealed the one thing she wishes she could take back today. “I’ve done nude photos, lots. The only ones I regretted were the ones that I kind of got talked into,” she told the news outlet.

So today, Cindy is taking what she’s learned over the past few decades to teach her children, son Presley, 18, and daughter, Kaia, 16, the ins and outs of being a model (the two are taking the industry by storm at the moment). “I don’t want my children to ever look back and think, ‘Gosh, I wish I hadn’t done that.’ I want to empower them to just say, ‘I’m outta here,'” she said.

That said, Cindy is making sure she always leads by example when it comes to educating Presley and Kaia. “Kids don’t always listen, but they are always watching what you do,” she said. “If you’re polite to people, they learn to be polite. If you make family time a priority, they don’t even question spending time together…. You lead by example.”

However, she’s aware that she can only teach them so much. “I don’t really think that you can teach how to model. It needs to come from within,” she said.

In fact, Cindy’s experience in the business has given her kids a form of protection in their own careers. “As far as being a mother of two young people going into fashion, of course I worry. But let’s be honest,” she began. “My kids are blessed in that business because they aren’t coming in as unknowns. People will know I will come after them if they mess with my kids.”
