She may only be 48, but Cindy Crawford is already looking forward to 50, especially since it brings a new chapter in her life.
In anticipation of the milestone, the supermodel is releasing a book next year which will include a collection of photos as well as secrets to her success.
"It's not just a coffee-table book with images, although that will be part of it," she shares. "It's not a biography. It's sort of a hybrid book."
And despite what society thinks, she feels the book will shed a positive light on aging. "It'll come out in the fall before I turn 50, so it's kind of a way to celebrate 50 as opposed to dreading it," the brunette beauty says.
Once the face of Versace and Gucci, Cindy is much more focused now on her growing business ventures. She is part owner in the skincare line Meaningful Beauty and recently announced a partnership with healthy lifestyle company, Urban Remedy.
"I have always sought out expert advice to live a more healthy, balanced life," the mom-of-two explains of why she chose this particular brand.
When speaking about age recently, Cindy told WWD that beauty is much more than what is seen on the outside.
"Beauty changes as I get older. I've always found that beauty and confidence are synonymous. If you feel confident, that's what people see," she said, adding, "I always tell people to fake it until they make it."
