Step by Step fans, rejoice!
In a candid interview, Christine Lakin — who played daughter Alicia "Al" Lambert on the hit 90s sitcom — talked about the possibility of the show's cast reconciling for a possible reunion special.
"There's definitely a sense of nostalgia buzzing right now and while I would personally love to imagine what the Step by Step family would be up to now, [but] I don't know if the gang is too scattered these days to bring back a reunion show," she revealed to E! News.

But, don't give up hope yet, Step by Step lovers! The 37-year-old star — who is currently expecting her first child — confessed she's chatted with her on-screen dad, Patrick Duffy, about starring in a new TV project together!

"Patrick and I have talked about an idea my partner and I wrote and are going out with a production company this spring, just because I'd love him to play my dad again," she continued. "But it's hard to get him away from his beloved fishing these days and truthfully, I don't blame him."

Though Patrick, 67, is most known for playing Bobby Ewing on Dallas and Frank Lambert on Step by Step, the actor went on to do voice-over work on shows including Family Guy and Justice League. In 2012, he reprised his role as Bobby Ewing in TNT's reboot of the hit show Dallas, which went off the air in 2014.
