Just two days after Céline Dion's beloved husband René Angélil's death last January, the singer's brother Daniel Dion also sadly lost his battle with cancer.
"René escorted my brother. It was perfect," Céline, 48, admitted in a new interview. "René took Daniel under his wings and he said 'You know, I'll take good care of him.'"

The "My Heart Will Go On" songstress' husband passed away at age 73 on Jan. 14 in Nevada after a long battle with throat cancer. Her brother Daniel died from brain, throat and tongue cancer at age 59 in Montreal on Jan. 16.
"[Daniel's death] was hard for my mom. I said, 'You know what Mom? You gave birth and you took him back. You took his hand from the beginning to the end,'" Céline said of comforting her mother, Thérèse Dion, 89, following Daniel's passing.

"Me, if I see one of my son's dying and I know he's gonna die, I want to be there to give him a hand. Then I'll deal with my own feelings," the star added, referring to her three sons with René, René-Charles, 15, and twins Nelson and Eddy, both 5.
