Casey Kasem has been finally laid to rest.
The famed radio DJ — who died from sepsis on June 15, 2014 at age 82 — was reportedly buried last Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Vestre Gravlund, one of the largest cemeteries in Norway, 'TMZ' reports.
While it is still unclear whether Casey's 59-year-old wife, Jean, was in attendance at her husband's gravesite for the small ceremony, the star's three eldest children were allegedly not present. In fact, Casey's kids were reportedly not informed of their father's burial until Monday, Dec. 15.

The news of Casey's burial comes after a long battle between his three kids from his first marriage and Jean — with whom he also has a daughter, Liberty — over where the radio personality should be laid to rest.

Following his death, Casey's wife of 34 years flew her late husband's remains from Gig Harbor, Wash., to Montreal, Canada and then Oslo, Norway. Since then, Casey's children have been fighting for their father's body to be brought back to the U.S. so they can bury him in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burbank, Calif.
In late November, a judge ruled Jean had the right to bury Casey's body where she chooses.

"Anybody who knows my dad knew he wanted to be buried in Forest Lawn," Casey's daughter Kerri Kasem, 42, previously told 'Closer.' "My father [had] never been to Norway!"
Most recently, accusations of elder abuse against Jean were submitted to the LA County District Attorney by the LAPD for further investigation.
