Is Kelly Ripa joining the next cast of Dancing With the Stars?!

In an exclusive new interview with Closer Weekly, Kelly's friend Carrie Ann Inaba confessed she'd be thrilled if the TV star competed on the show — and thinks she could win the competition!

"I would love to have her on the show!" Carrie Ann — who recently partnered with P.F. Chang’s Home Menu to reveal her family traditions, entertaining advice, and favorite dishes for Chinese New Year — said.

"But she always tells me, ‘Oh, I would put everybody to shame!’ And I believe she would because I know that she’s so physically fit, she’s such a fantastic athlete and she’s so musical and she’s such a great performer, and she’s funny — all of the qualities that could make her a winner," Carrie Ann continued.

"I think she’d do really well [on the show]. I don’t know [if she’d ever come on]," the DWTS judge told Closer. "She used to say she wanted to do it, but now she says she would put everybody to shame and I kind of believe her."

Though Kelly, 46, hasn't expressed any plans to join Dancing With the Stars for Season 24 — which is set to premiere on Monday, March 20! — Carrie Ann is hopeful the Live With Kelly star might one day serve as a guest judge on the popular reality show!

"She’d be great as a guest judge. We’ve had Robin Roberts in the past… who was wonderful," Carrie Ann, 49, told Closer. "I think, because [Kelly] is such a fan of the show, she’d be fantastic and fun. I love that woman, I love Kelly!"

Carrie Ann — who recently announced her engagement to Robb Derringer! — first joined Dancing With the Stars as a judge back in 2005 for the show's inaugural season. She remains on the program today alongside co-judges Julianne Hough, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.

Kelly Monaco (Season 1 – June 2005)

Since twirling around the dance floor with partner Alec Mazo — who left the show after Season 5 — Kelly has hosted the Miss USA Pageant and starred on the E! reality series Dirty Soap. In 2012, she returned to DWTS for a chance to win a second Mirror Ball Trophy in Season 15 but finished in third.

Apolo Anton Ohno (Season 4 – March 2007)

The speedskating Olympian first danced with partner Julianne Hough in Season 4 and later partnered with Karina Smirnoff while appearing on the reality competition's "All-Star" Season 15. Since then, he has guest starred on popular TV shows including Hawaii Five-0, The Biggest Loser, and Minute to Win It.
