Carrie Ann Inaba is engaged — and loving it!
Carrie Ann's handsome fiancé, Robb Derringer, also 49, popped the question to the TV star last December at the site of their first date, a secluded beach along the California coast.
"I got down on one knee under what I will always remember as the most serene and tranquil night sky I’ve ever seen and asked my beautiful girl if she would do me the honor of being my wife, to which she thankfully replied yes," Robb previously said of his romantic proposal.
Now that she and Robb are engaged, Carrie Ann — who recently partnered with P.F. Chang’s Home Menu to reveal her family traditions, entertaining advice, and favorite dishes for Chinese New Year — adorably confessed "life feels more complete."
"Everything feels possible with Robb in my life. We talk about it all the time — because we’re older, we’re both close to 50... This is the time of your life when you really start to appreciate everything that you have," she told Closer. "And we definitely feel that we have everything we need in this life. So anything that could come our way is absolutely possible to get through because we have each other and that’s such a really wonderful feeling."
When asked if she and her love have started wedding planning, Carrie Ann replied, "Not just yet, but we have an idea of what we want to do!"
"[Being engaged] is just a beautiful time to just enjoy each other and that’s what we’re doing," she said.

The best part of planning her wedding so far? Carrie Ann is sharing her "I Do" tips with her DWTS co-stars Julianne Hough and Erin Andrews, who are also both engaged!
"I was just talking to Erin and Julianne and we’re trying to plan a party when the [next DWTS] season starts up — a girl’s night dinner so we can kind of discuss some wedding planning together," she told Closer.
"We can share secrets and things like that as we all move forward. It’s really nice to be engaged with all of them at the same time," Carrie Ann continued. "I think it’s really fun. It just kind of shows the way our our whole [DWTS] family is so connected, that all three of us are engaged at the same time is funny."
