Congratulations are in order for Carol Burnett!
The 82-year-old The Carol Burnett Show star took home the Life Achievement Award at the SAG Awards on Saturday, Jan. 30 — and we couldn't be happier the actress received this special honor!
"My thanks to SAG-AFTRA and to all of you for this very special evening and very special honor," she said while accepting the coveted award that recognizes those who exemplify the finest ideals of the acting profession. "I'm so glad we had this time together."

Comedic duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey presented the award to Carol, who has appeared in movies Annie, Noises Off and The Four Seasons, among many others, throughout her 60-year showbiz career. "She has deserved every award because comedy is much harder than drama," Amy joked before calling Carol on-stage.

The Emmy and Golden Globe winner — who sported a green suit and gray slippers at the star-studded event — is the 52nd recipient of this special tribute, which is awarded for career achievements and humanitarian accomplishments.
