“I can’t say that I miss the schedule. I think that has been the best part of not being there — that schedule is really tough for me to fly coast to coast every single week,” Candace told Closer on Tuesday, May 30.

“Of course, there are certain aspects of the show that I do miss. I tune in every once in a while and [the current hosts are] holding it down,” she continued. “Sometimes I still get riled up watching it as well [and say], ‘Oh, if I were only there in that seat!’ But I’m not and that’s OK, I’m perfectly happy not at The View right now.

When asked if she’d be interested in returning to the show as a guest-host in the future, Candace replied, “Yes, I’m sure [I would]!”

“It wasn’t an easy decision. Before I started The View, I already had my commitments to Fuller House and the Hallmark Channel… Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows,” Candace said at the time.
