At 41, Cameron Diaz is hardly "old," but that doesn't stop the actress from embracing her developing wrinkles!
While promoting her new film, The Other Woman, the blonde beauty shares she can't bear the thought of remaining "stagnant" in youth.
"I swear to God this is why I love getting old, just being in the moment," the Annie star tells InStyle magazine.
"Women are told if they don't defy nature and stay 25 for the rest of their lives, it's a personal failure. But I don't want to stay where I was. I don't want to be stagnant," she says.
Cameron has been very open about her thoughts on growing older, telling Oprah just last month, "Women don't allow other women to age gracefully,and we don't give ourselves permission to age gracefully. I wasn't able to defy nature."

When the actress posed on the cover of Closer in a bikini at age 62, it was her message to the world that older women can definitely still be sexy! “It’s just pure joy,” Seymour told us about aging and becoming a grandmother. “The best thing about being 62 is being alive and healthy...I made a choice a while ago that I wanted to age gracefully and actually have my own face."
The former sex symbol has no qualms about getting older, she just gets annoyed when other people do! “I don’t look like I did 30 years ago. Get over it!” the Body Heat star told Closer. “You have to get to that place as a woman where you know your worth isn’t dependent on [looks].”
The former Charlie's Angels actress previously talked to Closer about her experience aging in Hollywood. "Every stage of life has something special and certainly this one does," the 68-year-old told us. "To dwell on looks or the superficial, I don’t think brings happiness. What brings me joy and peace is family."
The star has been vocal for years about her past struggle with acceptance. "There was a point in my 40s where I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine...and I cried and cried and cried," admits the now 56-year-old. "I don't want to be an 'ageless beauty.' I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age."
