They've been divorced for over 20 years, but it appears Burt Reynolds still owes ex-wife Loni Anderson a hefty amount of cash.
Their nasty divorce battle in 1993 ended when the Smokey and the Bandit star agreed to pay the blonde bombshell $234,794.13.
Despite five years of marriage, the pair threw insult after insult at each other, with Burt accusing the actress of cheating while she claimed he was abusive.
While the 78-year-old paid some of the settlement back in the mid-'90s, he declared bankruptcy only a few years later. His bad luck with finances have only continued, including his Florida estate being foreclosed on in 2011.
Whether Burt can afford to pay Loni what she's owed will soon be discovered, as a judge has ordered the Oscar nominee to settle his debt. Luckily for the him, he just signed a book deal, which should help alleviate some of the pressure.
