Burt Reynolds is getting candid about his iconic 1972 nude photoshoot for Cosmopolitan!
"I regret doing it. I wish I hadn't. It was a long time ago. I was very young and very stupid and it did not change my career to the better as everybody thought," the 79-year-old actor admitted in a new interview.
"I find other people throw it at me and I don't like it," he added.

In his new memoir, But Enough About Me, Burt wrote the centerfold — in which he posed nude while lying on a bear skin rug — was one of the biggest mistakes of his life. He also claimed the photos hurt his chance and his costars chances at winning the Best Picture Oscar for the 1972 dramatic thriller, Deliverance.
