Theirs was one of the nastiest divorces in Hollywood history, but more than 20 years later, Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson are proving there are no hard feelings.
After many years of not speaking, “about a year ago, we were having dinner with our son,” 26-year-old Quinton, Loni says. “We were talking about all the stuff you accumulate over the years.”
So what did they do? Start selling memorabilia from their famous relationship!

Burt and Loni, who were married from 1988 to 1993, have put more than 700 personal items up for bids at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills. His catalog along is expected to fetch more than $1.2 million – at a time when Burt, 78, could use the cash.

The actor, who now teaches classes at his Burt Reynolds Institute for Film & Theatre in Jupiter, Fla., denies he’s hard up for funds, insisting that he just wants to downsize.
Meanwhile Loni, 69 — who wed singer Bob Flick in 2009 — has seen her career slow down. “Once Burt decided to sell off so much memorabilia, Loni felt it was OK to so the same,” an insider says.

The former duo is now able to look back on their good times together and laugh. “You start thinking, ‘Oh, I remember that!'" Loni says. “'That was so fun!'”
