Viewers of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon were last night treated to a rap of Snoop Dogg's hit tune Gin and Juice by the most unlikely of people - NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams.
Thanks to some creative editing genius at The Tonight Show, individual words were spliced and put together to form the 1996 rap - though Williams pointed out to Jimmy Fallon that he has never in his life used the word "hippity".
He also said it was a little creepy to know that a Fallon staffer is poring over his every broadcasted word. Such digital devotion "spooks me out," Williams said.
The video has now gone viral and is on track to match a February remix of Williams' words put to Sugar Hill Gang's 1979 classic Rapper's Delight, which currently has almost 9 million YouTube views.
