Miranda Lambert is “Trying to Get Back to Normal” After Divorce from Blake Shelton
Miranda Lambert is doing her best to move on from her divorce.
Just days after she announced her split from Blake Shelton, the 31-year-old country singer returned to the stage to perform in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday, July 22 to sing her hit “Heart Like Mine” at her friend Ashley Monroe‘s show.
“She’s really trying to get back to normal, and I think being onstage is a part of that,” Ashley, 28, told Page Six, adding Miranda was “nervous at first” to perform.

The “Little Red Wagon” singer and Blake, 39, filed for divorce after four years of marriage on Monday, July 20 and reportedly finalized their separation that same day.
“She hasn’t changed. She kept her own identity within the marriage and maintains her own identity. She wants her privacy,” Ashley added of her close friend.

The country superstars previously met in 2005 and became engaged in May 2010 after dating for four years. They tied the knot in May 2011 in front of more than 500 friends — including fellow celebrities Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson and Martina McBride, among others — and family members in Boerne, Texas. This is the second failed marriage for Blake, who was previously hitched to Kaynette Gern from 2003 until 2006.
