Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' Marriage: This Is How They Keep It Strong

While every other Hollywood couple seems to be falling apart, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are stronger than ever! The duo has a perfect plan to keep their relationship healthy and their family together, and it all starts — appropriately enough — with being together, even if that means shipping the whole squad across the globe.

“My husband and I don’t work at the same time, so we all go together as a family,” Blake explained to People about traveling to film. “If we’re away as a family, it’s never more than for a day. We stay together.” That’s no small feat considering they have a two-year-old, James, and a one-year-old, Ines, to wrangle. Planes, cabs, hotels… that’s not easy!

Still, Blake counts herself lucky to have a career where she does have the option to bring her husband and kids to work, and she’s totally willing to hustle to make it happen. She even started working on her most recent film All I See Is You just four months after giving birth, which means her then-four-month-old Ines came along for the ride.

“I’m not in an office where I can’t do that, so she’s either with me or when I’m shooting a scene, she’s one room away,” explained the stunning actress. “If she really needs me, I can pop over there.” How sweet is that?

Blake and Ryan’s system seems to work perfectly, and we’re willing to bet it’s because it’s fair and gives them plenty of quality time together. Often, Hollywood couples either never see each other and end up falling for someone that’s around more, like a co-star, or one of them gives up more than the other and feels resentment. More stars should take a page from this couple — they’re doing it right!
