Congratulations are in order for Bindi Irwin!
The 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 22 to share she earned her driver's license in a very special way — by driving her dad's old truck!
"Thank you so much to Constable Joshua Little and Queensland Police for testing me today and giving me my license," the DWTS Season 21 winner captioned a sweet snapshot of herself posing alongside her driving instructor. "It was wonderful to take my test in St. George and pass the first time and in my Dad's giant old [truck]!"
Steve — better-known as "The Crocodile Hunter" — sadly passed away at age 44 in 2006 after being fatally stung by a stingray. “I feel like my dad is still with us,” Bindi exclusively told Closer Weekly in a recent interview. “I feel closest to my dad when I’m with my family. I think that as a family we try to make sure that his legacy continues. I really hope that Dad would be proud.”
He'd definitely be proud of you for this big accomplishment, Bindi!
