Bindi Irwin is heading to the ballroom!
The 17-year-old daughter of wildlife expert Steve Irwin — who sadly died at age 44 in 2006 — has been announced as the first new cast member to join Dancing with the Stars for the reality competition's upcoming 21st season.

“And the first celebrity on the new season of @DancingABC... Bindi Irwin! #GMADancing,” Good Morning America revealed on its official Twitter account earlier today.

"This is completely different to anything I've ever done in my life, I'm used to wrangling crocodiles!" the teenage animal activist said of joining the reality show.
Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
