Bindi Irwin and Her Boyfriend Chandler Powell Honor the Late Steve Irwin at Annual Gala

Bindi Irwin is remembering her late father, Steve Irwin, in a very special way.

The former Dancing With the Stars champion and her boyfriend, Chandler Powell, proudly honored the deceased Crocodile Hunter at his 10th annual Gala dinner on Saturday, Nov. 26.

“As the #SteveIrwinGala comes to an end this year we reflect on the beautiful memories we have of the ultimate Wildlife Warrior, my Dad, Steve Irwin. His legacy will live on forever,” the 18-year-old wrote on the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Instagram page during the philanthropic event.

Steve sadly passed away in September 2006 at age 44 after being fatally stabbed by a stingray while snorkeling in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Bindi has taken to social media a plethora of times before to pay tribute to her late dad.
