Jimmy Fallon really wanted to duet with Billy Joel when the musician appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show. And lucky for us, the 64-year-old was game!

The two churned out an amazing rendition of the 1961 hit "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," which saw a resurgence in the '90s when Disney's The Lion King was released.

Using an iPad app called Loopy, Fallon and Joel were able to create a four-part backing track which allowed them to become a "two-man doo-wop group."

But the chorus is by far the best part, with 5-time Grammy winner Joel belting out the perfect notes!
