TV Land announced Thursday that Emmy-nominated actress Mayim Bialik will co-host the new version of the 1948 prank show, Candid Camera, premiering Aug. 11.
She will appear alongside Peter Funt, the son of the show's creator and original host, Allen Funt. The program is set to air four new episodes across four days during its first week before settling into a Tuesday night time-slot.

According to the network, crews have already begun filming pranks in cities like New York and Chicago with the help of a few celebrity guests like Smash's Megan Hilty.
Mayim, who rose to fame on the '90s series, Blossom, went on to have a career in neuroscience before landing back on television in the extremely popular sitcom, The Big Bang Theory. Of her new gig, the 38-year-old said, “I am honored and tickled pink to get to be a part of this amazing franchise.”
Candid Camera began airing in the late '40s and has been revived several times over the years, the last of which was broadcast in 2004.
