It seems Bette Midler owns the stage in Hello, Dolly! — and also at the Tony Awards!
Her Best Leading Actress in a Musical acceptance speech made headlines on Sunday, June 11, for more reasons than one. Not only was it extremely longer than most award show speeches, but she also said some of the most hilarious one-liners while accepting her first-ever Tony win for acting.
Dressed in a form-fitted silver-studded gown, the Hocus Pocus star went on and on, thanking a plethora of people, and claiming her Broadway experience on Hello, Dolly! has been one of the best in her career.

The iconic Hollywood star, 71, had the crowd in awe, and eventually had them laughing so hard when she exclaimed, "shut that crap off!" once the standard tune starting playing (that same music that plays when someone is taking way too long to wrap up). She even gave a special shout out to Carol Channing!
