Ben Affleck successfully completed the ALS ice bucket challenge on Aug. 18 with a little help from his adorable wife, Jennifer Garner!
In case you are unfamiliar with this newest trend, the challenge aims to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurological disease that causes severe muscle weakness.
If a person is nominated for the challenge, they are required to pour a bucket of ice cold water over their head or donate $100 to the ALS Association. Since the challenge has taken hold, more than $22 million has been raised.
Ben is the latest in a slew of celebrities to be nominated. In the video, he states: "Tyler Perry called me out so I'm going to take the challenge [and] I'm also going to make a donation."
"I guess I have to pick four other people so my people are going to be folks who I know from firsthand experience look good in a wet T-shirt," he jokingly added.
The Oscar winner goes on to nominate Jimmy Kimmel, Neil Patrick Harris, best friend Matt Damon and "the lady with the bucket" — aka wife Jen.
After the bucket is dumped, Ben playfully grabs the 42-year-old and they fall backwards into a pool. Off camera, their three kids can be heard laughing hysterically.
Since Jen has now been nominated, will the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star make an appearance in her video as well? We can't wait to see!
