In the wake of their recent breakup, Barry Williams' ex-girlfriend is claiming 'The Brady Bunch' star has been an "absentee" father to their three-year-old daughter, Samantha.
But now, the actor, 60, is fighting back, denying he has abandoned the little girl since he and Elizabeth split after dating for seven years.

"Mr. Williams is working and taking care of his own kid," a newly released statement from Barry's rep began. "He has taken care of Samantha since her birth... It is Elizabeth who prevents all contact between Mr. Williams and Samantha.
"He has not abandoned Samantha," the statement concluded.
Alternatively, Elizabeth, 36, steadfastly maintains that Barry tried to "eradicate" their child from his life by moving to Branson, Miss., to star on a new reality series titled 'A Very Barry Branson,' which premiered on the Great American Country channel last month.
"He told me in 2012 that with the money he had he could retire and we would be able to live comfortably for the rest of our lives," the actress explained in a new interview. "[The show] is not about money. That's about promoting himself, his fame."

"I want him to grow up and do the right thing by his daughter," she added.
The statement provided by Barry's rep conversely states the actor — who also has an 11-year-old son, Eric, with his second wife, Elia Mary Matt — committed to relocating to Missouri before he learned Elizabeth was pregnant with their child.
