Get well soon, Barry Manilow!

The 73-year-old singer has canceled two of his upcoming concerts in Chicago and LA due to sprained vocal cords, a rep for Barry announced via his official Facebook page on Saturday, May 13.

“We regret to inform you that Barry Manilow’s two concerts scheduled for this week in LA and Chicago are currently being rescheduled. Barry is on doctors orders to rest due to sprained vocal chords. We are all very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause,” the message began.

“Tickets issued for the original dates will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Patrons holding tickets for the original dates are encouraged to use them for the new date; no exchange is necessary. Please contact the point-of-purchase for more information,” the statement read.

“Again, we’re terribly sorry for any inconvenience, but we look forward to seeing you very soon!” the message concluded.

Barry’s Chicago show has now been rescheduled for Saturday, July 29 and his LA concert will take place on Friday, Aug 4.

This isn’t the first time Barry has recently canceled concerts due to health issues. In February 2016, the “Mandy” singer was rushed to the hospital after suffering “complications from emergency oral surgery.” A month earlier, he was hospitalized for a heart attack scare.

Barry additionally made headlines earlier this year for opening up about his marriage to Garry Kief for the first time. “I thought I would be disappointing [my fans] if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything,” Barry said. “I’m so private. I always have been.”

The singer found love with TV executive Garry — who later became his manager — in 1978. “He’s the smartest person I’ve ever met in my life — and a great guy, too,” Barry said.

“[When we met], I knew that this was it,” he continued. “I was one of the lucky ones. I was pretty lonely before that.”
