Barbra Streisand has found herself in some hot water today after her beloved dog badly bit an airline stewardess during a recent flight.

According to a new report, the unidentified flight attendant needed stitches after the star’s 12-year-old Coton de Tulear, Sammie, nipped her while traveling with Barbra on a friend’s private jet from NYC to Washington, DC on Tuesday, April 28.

Barbra received Sammie as a gift from her husband, James Brolin, 74, in 2003 and the pet has since accompanied the ‘Funny Girl’ actress on trips around the world during several of her concert tours.

“She’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. She’s like the daughter I never had,” she told ‘The Independent‘ of the pooch in a 2013 interview.
