Welcome back, Barbara Walters!
The 85-year-old journalist made a special appearance on The View earlier today to celebrate the hit daytime talk show reaching a milestone 4,000 episodes.
Barbara — the show's creator, long-time co-host and executive producer — returned to the show with former celebrity panelist Joy Behar to look back at the series' most memorable moments.

"There were many people who said ['The View'] would ruin our careers, and it has," Barbara joked with Joy, 72, and current hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace.
"You gave me an opportunity, and it changed my life because people realized that I actually have some thoughts in my head on occasion," Whoopi, 59, told Barbara, referring to the show's signature unscripted "Hot Topics" conversations.

"I want to raise a glass with my wonderful colleagues to 4,000 shows of 'The View,' and to the women who made it possible," Barbara began a celebratory toast at the end of the show.
"I also want to raise a glass to the 4,000 shows that copy us. It's become a daytime institution of strong, funny, smart, opinionated women and a powerful brand," she added.
