Princess Beatrice Wants to Get Engaged But Feels "Overshadowed" by Kate Middleton (REPORT)

The royal feud between Princess Beatrice and Kate Middleton continues.

After it was revealed Prince William‘s cousin wasn’t invited to Princess Charlotte‘s christening because she allegedly doesn’t get along with the Duchess of Cambridge, a new report from Woman’s Day claims Beatrice, 26, wants to get engaged but feels too “overshadowed” by Kate, 33, to do so.

Beatrice and Dave began dating around 2007.

According to the Australian magazine, Beatrice has been intending to announce her engagement to longtime boyfriend Dave Clark for “several years” but hasn’t shared her happy news because Kate keeps getting pregnant.

Furthermore, the Princess of York and her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, 25 — whose parents are Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York — have reportedly disliked Kate since she married into the monarchy in April 2011.

The resentment between the two is allegedly so bad that Beatrice once sarcastically referred to Kate as “the Chosen One,” and told friends that while she and her sister are the only “blood princesses,” Kate “gets the glamour jobs, the clothing allowance, the limos and the bodyguards, while I have to travel economy.”

The last time Kate and Beatrice were seen alone and in direct conversation with each other was at Christmastime on the family’s Sandringham Estate in 2011. Since then, they’ve only been photographed in group situations and are never seen addressing each other directly.
